Diving Lee Jae-kyung and Kim Young-taek failed to advance to the men’s 1m final at the World Championships

Lee Jae-kyung (Incheon Metropolitan City Hall) and Kim Young-taek (Jeju Provincial Government) failed to advance to the finals on the men’s 1m springboard diving board at the 2024 International Swimming Federation World Championship.

Lee Jae-kyung ranked 19th out of 45 players in the men’s 1m springboard preliminary round held at Hamad Aquatic Center in Doha, Qatar on the 3rd with a total of 295.45 points from the 1st to 6th.마카오토토

Lee Jae-kyung, who failed to reach the final in the first match of the competition, seeks to make up for it on the 3-meter springboard, the men’s synchro 3-meter springboard, and the mixed 3-meter springboard.

Kim Young-taek, who succeeded in advancing to the finals on the men’s 10m platform at the Fukuoka World Championships last year and secured a berth to the 2024 Paris Olympics, will compete on the 10m platform and the men’s synchro 10m platform in this competition.

Meanwhile, Lee Hae-rim (Gyeongbuk Provincial Government), who competed in the women’s 10km open water swimming held at Old Doha Port, recorded 2:06:14.60 to rank 42nd out of 71 people.

Lee Hae-rim finished 42nd in this event at the Fukuoka World Championships last year and finished the race in the same place again this time.

Park Jung-joo (Anyang City Hall), who competed together, ranked 53rd with a time of 2:12:15.20.
