South Korea will clinch a spot in the round of 16 by topping their group with a win over Thailand. Before Korea’s game, Kuwait and Bahrain met at the same venue and ended 1-1.
With Bahrain on two points (two draws) and Kuwait on one point (one draw and one loss), South Korea will have six points (two wins) if they beat Thailand and will finish first in the group regardless of the outcome of the third match.
